2024 Blue Tie Ride

The Blue Tie Ride is where dozens of motorcyclists who are passionate about riding and giving back to their communities, have an opportunity to take to the streets for a fun-filled day of awareness and fundraising.

2024 Blue Tie Ride

Come and join us for our 13th Annual Blue Tide Ride Motorcycle Charity Poker Run. This year, back by popular demand, we will be hosting a 5 card Poker Run.
 

$1000 cash prize for best poker hand.
 

Early bird: $55 per rider, $25 per passenger until July 28, 2024.

$65.00 per rider, $30 per passenger July 29, 2024 to August 17th, 2024
 

Please note only the first 100 registered riders and registered passengers will receive an event t-shirt

Please remember to bring your non-perishable food item as we are continuing to contribute to Barrie Food Bank. You will receive a ticket for some cool prizes.

Who are we?

Blue Tie Ride was founded in 2011 by Raumar Bustamante and Dolly Betancourt who both share a passion for raising funds and awareness for cancer support services and childhood sexual abuse.
 

To date, Blue Tie Ride has raised $138,000 through various events but most importantly our Blue Tie Ride Motorcycle Charity Poker Run which is held every August.

Mission

Motorcycle enthusiasts riding for survivors and their families impacted by cancer & childhood sexual abuse.

100% of our net proceeds go to both Wellspring Chinguacousy and The Gatehouse.

 

The Gatehouse: is a unique charity that provides supports, resources and advocacy on behalf of those impacted by childhood sexual abuse. Over the past 25 years, The Gatehouse has helped thousands including children, youth and adults who have experienced childhood sexual abuse.

​Wellspring Chinguacousy: A Canada-wide network of community-based centres, offering programs and services at no charge, without referral, to anyone with any type of cancer, at any stage in their journey. Wellspring has helped thousands of people take an active role in taking charge of their cancer experience to improve their quality of life. Wellspring charges no fees and receives no government or other core funding. Programs and operations are made possible only through the generosity of donors and funds raised through sponsorships and special events.
